Newtown Battlefield
149th PVI Co. K

This is a family picture taken Oct. 15, 2000 at Newtown
Battlefield.

Picture done by Ashley M. Kirchner

First row: Nikki Jackson, Anna Cavanaugh, Susan Cavanaugh,
Jayanna Cavanaugh, and Joyce Mason
Second row: Thomas Wilson, DuWayne Cavanaugh, Alexander
Bessey, Joel Tremblay, and Jeffrey Wilson

Now you might be wondering why Alexander Bessey looks like
a ghost. Alexander is the Great-Great Grandfather of
Thomas Wilson, Anna Cavanaugh, and Jeffrey Wilson. He fought
in the Civil War and was wounded at the Second Battle of
Bull Run. He died about a month later of his wound. He is
one of 8 ancestors that we honor with our reenacting.
